We’re starting to get some reviews in advance of the release of Hand of Fate! Here’s one from Publishers Weekly:
“Readers will identify with these very real women as they try to uncover Fate’s killer.”
And here’s another from Romantic Times, which gave the new book four stars:
“The second book by Wiehl and Henry featuring the Triple Threat Club ratchets up the excitement and suspense to another level. Realistic characters with authentic dilemmas will appeal to a wide array of mystery lovers.”

Hey, Triple Threat fans! We’ve got lots of news for you, but the biggest news of all: Face of Betrayal is now available in paperback, earlier than expected! It’s hot off the presses and has shipped out of Thomas Nelson’s factories, and you can visit ThomasNelson.com to find a retailer near you (or online) that is carrying the book!
We also want to mention that Lis’ vlog will resume next week–and that she’s waiting to get YOUR questions and comments about it!
Also, in the next several weeks we’ll be updating LisWiehlBooks.com, especially as we prepare for the ever-nearing release of Hand of Fate, so be on the lookout for those updates!
We’ll close this update with a bit of your fanmail:
Face of Betrayal was a great read. It was like watching one of today’s intriguing news stories unfold. I zipped through it all too quickly and am waiting for the next book. Hurry!

Here are some more letters from fans who can’t put down Face of Betrayal!
Hi Lis – Just finished Face of Betrayal. Loved it, great read! I will be looking forward to reading your next one. Also do so enjoy seeing you on Fox News. :)
– Sue F.
I just read your book. I couldn’t put it down so you are on my “best authors to read” list. I am looking forward to your next in the Triple Threat series. April 2010, yeah! It was a great read w/out any junk added. Grisham is a favorite of mine too and he writes like that. Hard to find clean books to read, but I know it can be done. Thank you.
– Dorine M.
Thanks to all of you for your support!

We’ll be posting another installment of Lis’ new vlog tomorrow–but in the meantime here are some more fan letters that we’ve received!
I’m 73, always a reader, [Face of Betrayal] is probably the best ever of its kind. I don’t like serials, but this is great with these three girls….yes, I can say girls, I am old enough. Can’t wait for the next one. It is clean too….I have already sent out emails to friends singing its praises…
–Joanne H.
At my local library in the Portland area I saw your book in the new release section and was excited to pick it up. I finished it in two days and not knowing it was set in Portland was pleasantly surprised on all counts. Can’t wait for the next book, love the characters and the setting and will keep watching FOX.

We’re so happy that so many of you continue to write in after reading Face of Betrayal! Here are a few more of the great letters we’ve received.
When you go to new restaurant and enjoy the food, you are supposed to say “my compliments to the chef.” I read Face of Betrayal, and I would like to say; “my compliments to the author.” I have always enjoyed looking at your pretty face on Fox, now I can tell others that that pretty face can write a damn good book… I am an avid reader, in a little less than 5 years, I have read 578 books. I rarely try a new author, but I’m very glad I did with you. Keep up the good work and I will be looking for your next book.
–Ed H.
Just finished Face of Betrayal (signed) given to me by my wife for fathers day and I kicked my self for waiting to get through the stack….What a great read just ordered your other book and can’t wait. Your the best and every time your on the tube my wife just smiles and gives me a pass…good woman that she is.
–Tony R.
I received your book when I ordered the No Spin Mat from BillOReilly.com. I finished it in two days and I must say, it was excellent. It kept me in suspense the entire reading. I read a lot of books but mostly political, I have read Dick Morris, Beck, Hannity, and all of O’Reilly’s books. It was a nice change to read a novel. Excellent book!!!! I also never miss the Factor and I enjoy it when you and Kelly spar with Bill, very entertaining. Keep up the great work!!
